Power of the Dog - Don Winslow
This book was recommended to me by Matt Glass and he assured me it was a corker. I can now report that it is in fact, a corker.
It's basically about this guy Art Keller who's a good DEA cop fighting the war against drugs in America. He's up against one hell of a network of drug dealers, murderers, crooked politicians and crooked cops. The book tells in great detail how difficult it is to fight the war on drugs when there seems to be absolutely no one you can trust. Although the book is fiction it apparently took Winslow 6 years to research this novel and the result is superb.
This is the first book I've read by Don Winslow and I will definitely be going back for more. For a more detailed review on this book click on the link below.
